And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My 36 year old hammer got stolen a year ago. If you're wondering about "drilling", it was the best at driving flight auger connector pins into place (and out, too). Every environmental driller used one.
Sold my Mobile Drilling B-24 rig shortly after that. Powered by a 3 cylinder. Hach (German) air-cooled engine. Loved to drill, and it was quite profitable. Being a somewhat underpowered rig, even in the SC Lowcountry, you had to get a "feel" for it. Could complete 80' of monitoriing wells at $30/ft. daily. Equipment cost was $60/well. My helper $150, mileage/per diem would be $100. Say $500 deducted from $2,400. A good day's work in ther early 1990s.
