  1. My wife feeds a family with our kitchen scraps, a spot across the road at the treeline, seems to keep them mostly off our land, they are some pretty big little porkers. We don't mind cause they keep the tick population near zero, so its a win win. But lord they are some ugly critters.

    1. Here too. Was one out in the front yard last night. I shined a flashlight and it waddled away at high speed.

  2. In the last 5-6 months I have trapped and relocated 7 of these unattractive critters. And I live in housing subdivision. Now I am dealing with a raccoon - a much smarter, or wiser, critter. And a living rototiller.

  3. We have a younger one that has made friends with our outdoor cats. It's not really afraid of us and does keep the tick and grub population at bay.

  4. i encourage their presence on our ground. they do a lot of good. we have at least 3 different color variations. they don't carry rabies either contrary to local belief.
