  1. yup. buy them once and take care of them and they will last your lifetime. unless someone steals them or you lend them out. have some Klein tools in my tool box that I had for years now. close to 40 years or more now.
    Mom told me years ago, "any money spent on good tools is never wasted if you take care of them" when I moved up here, the guys helping me bitched about the weight of my tool boxes until I showed them that they where empty.
    yup, old American made tool boxes where thicker and lasted long than the lightweight ones made today.

    1. Exactly so. When I started my first construction job, my father bought a pair of Kleins for me, which I still have 50 years later. I can’t tell you how many tons of rebar I’ve tied with them, and they’re still going strong on fence work here on the farm.
