And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A couple weeks back Hy Vee had all their Progresso on a 3-day sale for $1.09/can. Some of their soup I don't care for but I think I bought about 25 cans of the stuff I eat.
I get the Progresso chicken & wild rice because it is one of the few without Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO). I have abandoned Campbells since they have GMO in everything. By law, if it contains GMO, it has to say so on the label.
Just bought a case of the original. We will see, but Progresso IS the best soup in a can, IMHO.

ReplyDeleteI've like Progresso for decades. I think they've changed the recipes by adding too much salt. This across all their soups.

Knorr is another favorite. Add water.
