Static Electricity Discharge

  2. Possibly newly manufactured rolls of Polyurethane Foam which were still off gassing fumes that are highly flammable and easy to ignite.

  4. Rolls of nitrocellulose fibers still dripping from the solvent vats???? No clue why a spark would do that unless the stuff was extremely flammable.

  5. It's polyurethane foam. Once it gets going it is serious. I've put out at least 20 fires over the last 20 years with this stuff at my plant. All have started from static.

  6. Strange you don't see the initial spark. Anyway, you'd think there would be static control procedures when working around this stuff.
