And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That guy's uniform is indicative of MY war, in the old Republic of Viet Nam (i.e., a "STAR WARS" movie fan, I love referring to, "the old Republic"!), and I rode on those CH-47 "Chinook" helicopters a bunch of times when I was serving in the 101st Airborne Division in Northern I Corps.
Now, I'm just a crippled up old geezer, but ah, the memories of youth, a long time ago in that other galaxy far, far away!
Been there, and flying sand be damned, it's great to catch a ride back.
