And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Went to the local gas station just now to fill up, and it was packed. One guy was in the bed of his truck filling his generator.
Let's spend a ton of money on green energy, like windmills. Let's spend so much, we have no budget left over for maintenance of power lines or brush clearing. That way, when the wind blows hard we can generate lots of electricity to send to the places where we haven't turned off the power, because the wind is blowing.
It's amazing that a progressive in CA even has a generator, but it's not surprising that he has to fill it.
Progressives don't ever think anything bad will ever happen to them, so "Be Prepared" is meaningless to them. They don't need guns, the police are always nearby; they don't need fire extinguishers, they trust the Fire Dept; they don't need tools, they just call Jose and he'll come fix it for them. Pathetic!
