And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

This should be in the Olympics: ridiculous wheel bike racing
Wikipedia is your friend. :-P I actually looked these bikes up a while back, they're called "penny-farthings" and they preceeded the modern bicycle. Oh...knights never needed cranes to mount their horses; it's a (frustratingly) common but entirely mythical legend. Google it, if you dont believe me, lol. Now that I'm done being rude, this blog is awesome so far! I came here from bayourenaissanceman, Peter Grant's blog. God bless! :-D
