And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Bajillions ( a real number) of seals beach themselves on Cape Cod due to great white sharks prowling those waters
I grew up near the Oregon coast and used to surf up by Cannon Beach. Looking back at it, and the great whites we saw, it wasn't one of the particularly smart things I have done in my life.
There must be a massive fish population in that area to support those predators.
