And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Revolver Porn: Smith and Wesson style
Left to Right: S&W 28-2, 586-2, 586, 686-3, 13-1, 10-7, 442-1
That 442 is a sweet little pocket pistol. I'm also partial to the 686.
Little known factoid. The SEALS carried the Model 66 for quite some time as an alternative option to the M1911 Colt .45 A1 (Govt) because of it's resilience against corrosion. It would continue to operate when exposed to ocean/air/ocean/air, etc. in an operational setting when the old venerable .45 started to experience corrosion problems in the barrel. Yes, the barrels were plugged but if you have to be ready to use them, the plugs came out - and stayed out because once out, the damage was done.
