A Man of Destiny
In a different time, Vic Kinkaid would have helmed Apollo mission control or helped build Detroit on rolling metal. Instead, Vic is a nondescript middle manager at Samson Trucking, forced to answer to HR Karens and running a failing logistics operation in a crumbling world. He’s a widower who takes solace in reading about the past, particularly his beloved Roman history. Vic figures he’s just about done.
But the world isn’t done with Vic. Shortages and riots intensify as a politically insane Washington stamps down on the American heartland. Then comes Covid-X.

Your call. Keep tabs on real life though, with all the threats from the Democrats to prosecute everyone they don't like, they are playing with fire. In my book, if your political opponents are trying to destroy you, and they appear to have the ability to do so, the next logical step is ... what do YOU think?

The Dems are the masters of law fare. Kooky claims from lunatic women, activist judges, forum shopping. They started it, and now they plan to apparently go nuclear. Scum. Filth. Same people that started the civil war, Jim Crow, Lynchings, filibustered the Civil Rights Act, foster anti semitism, preach intolerance, engage in vast voter fraud, and fight every effort to reduce it, etc, etc. It amazes me that anyone votes for this, but they do.
DeleteNormally, when a book is reviewed on a blog that I subscribe to, I will very often purchase the recommended reading material. I am afraid that this sort of fantasy fiction is lost to me.
