And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It would take quite a while to map out a route. The average grade could be harder than 5.12, and some of the long pitches in the middle could be 5.13 or more.
A Rowlan (?) photo…he was from around Bishop area, became world famous. Used to drive up to the bookstore every year from S Cal to get that.

ReplyDelete"Mountain" climbing is Everest, K2, et al. This is better characterized as "rock" climbing. Looks like at least a 5.12.
