And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? my Mom had ne like that. her uncle who was a cop in NYC gave it to her back before the war (WW2) she also kept it loaded with wadcutters. again on what her uncle told her. she was on her high school shooting team in the 1930's too. used to out shoot Dad all the time with a handgun and sometimes with a 22 rifle.
