And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Clever designers spend months perfecting their designs, then modellers make mock ups, then the guys in head office and the accountants weigh it all up, then the die makers get to work, the nuts and bolts and water pumps are ordered, the factory goes into production, and eventually these works of art come out, all gleaming and beautiful ... only for a few years later some bloke with a grinding wheel cuts the bonnet up and glues an air pump to the motor. Proof there are no hands on gods.
You could have said, "No accounting for taste." Get's the point across. And I submit the Edsel proves all the experts through the entire process can produce a lemon.
