And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

agree, fore-end view of a Dragunov is very distinctive. Too bad view of the stock is obscured. Sheep herding must be profitable or predators worrisome.
I dunno, this seems like a situation one might find in a Loony Toons short. Hope everything turns out for the sheep.

DeleteGray wolves (and Snow Leopards) are a big problem for sheepherders there, especially in winter when other prey is scarce.
Plus, the 7.62x54R cartridge in the Mongolian mountains makes a lot more sense than the AK’s 7.62x39 … just ask the Afghans for a reference..:))
