  5. One of the better looking colors, but Plum Crazy just didn't last very long. It faded, peeled and fractured kind of quickly. I had a 69 Super Bee in what everyone "lovingly" referred to as "Gorilla Snot Green" with a 383 and an A727 automatic.

  8. My dad was a used car salesman in the 50s. He used to say that you can't sell a green or purple car. If they took such a car in trade, they'd get it resprayed before putting it on the lot. Admittedly it was a very different time.

  10. Dad had a Twister in "Plumb Crazy". It had the 340 with a 4 speed and to a 9 year old kid it seamed like the quickest car on the street.

  11. I had a lot of good times in the back seat of a 69 Charger that belonged to my buddy. He with his honey in the front and me back there with mine. I kinda wish I hadn’t thought about it but, we were living it then.
