And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We flew a bunch of A-7's up in the arctic circle back in the 80's; it was cold; even colder at altitude. We wore these high muck lucks that went over the g-suit to just below the knees; I knew if we ejected those things would fly off and I would end up in my socks in the arctic circle in winter. Thankfully that never happened.
