I read the first 4 or 5 reviews then I went to the 1 star ones. I have several sets of wood chisels and even a set of cheap Irwins from back in the early days. My best ones were bought one at a time due to the price, and I've used them on many projects over the 30+ years I've had them.
The Amazon ones? Yes, they will probably do. But some reviewers said they didn't, so there's that. I like to see stuff in person and hold it in my hands.
Lastly, I have been buying stuff from amazon from the beginning and in recent years everything about them has been slipping.
