And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Oooh, I like that. Probably can't get it in California
It's a Kimber KDS 9C a much updated and modified 1911. It's now called a 2011 due to the high capacity 9mm magazine it uses. John Browning would be impressed but it all started with the 1911. Cocked and locked.
Nice, I ordered a 22 LR pistol and had my wallet knicked 2 days later. I have a carry permit that is 4 months out of date. GA DOT has "lost" my retirement papers once again. Fighting the battle. New Carry applied. Left VM for state retirement - strike 2.
I wonder why the hammer is cocked.
ReplyDeleteJust a paperweight with it down…
DeleteCondition 1.... Cocked and locked.
DeleteMaybe its like a 1911 and that lever on the side is the safety.
ReplyDeleteMy 1911s are always loaded and cocked when in the holster. Of course 1911s have a grip safety and wont fire out of battery.
Mine did while I was demonstrating it.
DeleteNo, you fired it while demonstrating
DeleteThen that might be a decocker.
ReplyDeleteIt's an ambidextrous safety.
DeleteNo decockers on 1911’s.
