  1. You should eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and supper like a pauper.
Anyway, that's what my mom used to say; I guess it had something to do with getting enough energy to work your a** off on the farm.

    1. LOL - That's my common complaint at restaurants - the plate is too tiny to eat the food comfortably. Either use a larger one, or use two.

  5. Don't eat that much in a week much less at breakfast. Especially that gunk.

  6. Very UK-ish. I had my share of Brit breakfasts when I was over there for work in the 1980's. Eggs usually undercooked. Beans are cold.
IMHO, highly inferior to a Denny's Grand Slam.
The only thing the Brits do really better is tea.

  7. Full English breakfast. Never been fortunate enough to tuck into. On a fairly regular basis do Peruvian style "desayuno" - some variation of; tacu-tacu, tamale, chorizo, morcila, red onion salsa and maybe thin beefsteak. Years ago regularly tried local versions in El Salvador.
    All good.

  10. That is a mighty fine breakfast. Add a kipper or two to round it out!! The beans have to a certain type, and the bacon that Danish type. Much is sort of floated or basted rather than hard fried. I prefer better eggs than what is shown, as there are some very orange yoked ones available.

Agree with Steve in the first comment with the Breakfast as a King, Lunch as a Price and Supper as a Pauper.

Oh back to the breakfast, where is the Marmite?
