And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That brings to mind a scene from one of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. Where Bill Nighy is in Johnny Depp's face going Arrr-arr, then repeats again and again. Depp glances at the camera and back to the overacting Nighy. I'm sure that wasn't scripted but was too funny to take out.

The iconic word, Arrrr, turns out to be a West Country UK word for yes. It was popularized in the 1934 movie version of Treasure Island. With a parrot upon his shoulder, crying pieces of eight, and a peg leg, Wallace Beery brought to life the iconic imagery of Robert Louis Stevenson in the1934 film Treasure Island.
