  2. Pull me over red. The most dangerous color is maroon. Statistically hardest color to see.

  4. Had a side lady once who took one look at my red Mitsubishi 2000 and said, "What a penis car!" I asked her what she meant and she replied, "You are showing off how little your dick is."

    1. This one's not just a V-8, it's a 400 cubic inch V-8, the biggest engine Pontiac put in a Firebird. My folks had one with the smallest V-8 (326 c.i.) and it was a screamer.
The 400 c.i. model had the ram air intakes on the hood and that awesome little tach bump right ahead of the driver's position, which is really cool.

    2. Yep…1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 convertible, with a 400. It lives in my garage , original condition. Limited to one HP per 10 lb of weight…350 HP. Automatic….yeah, bummer. She’s a runner in April Gold with a white interior and top, black carpets. not my fav, but it works.

  6. I had an AF Comm Maintenance Chief that had this car but with the single overhead 6. It would spank a lot of stock V-8's. It had been mildly massaged when it was rebuilt. It did have an Isky cam.

  7. Here's a fun fact that only geezers know. Inline sixes ruled the 1/8 mile drags back in the day. Why? Because they had shit loads of torque. Why? Because a crank with 50% more mass than a V8, gives it to you for free. Doesn't hurt that they're significantly lighter. Farther than the eighth mile, the V8 HP was unbeatable.

  8. Love real call induction hood and shakers. Surprised nobody noticed the tach on the hood
