And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

An Australian Army MRH 90 Taipan multi-role helicopter drops off personnel onto a RAN Collins Class submarine.
Taipain - a helo so good that it replaced the UH-60, just to be replaced by the UH-60 after too many crashes. Killed a good crew during Talisman Sabre.
Could be picking up somebody too. A friend told me of an instance where they met a sub to rescue an injured crewman. He was on the aerial tanker that flew with the helos and did the navigation.
Yes,unfortunately, I was helo evacuated when my mother died. CG helo picked me up somewhere off Alaska, to Kodiak . My mental state being what it was ,I don't remember much of the trip .
Lots of fun standing on a skinny sub under that rotor wash!
