    2. Before my time but here's my best guess
      Top row L-R, Not sure, looks like the size and shape of the fishing kit issued in the 80s; I think it's a water bag; Pocket knife, Tooth brush, Ammonia inhalers to wake up unconscious people; can't read and don't recognize the packages.

      Middle row: Compass and case; water purification kit; Not sure; Maybe C-Ration type accessory packet?;Candle, Matches, Toilet paper.

      Bottom row: Not sure; Can't read but some sort of cream paste, possibly first aid related?; Don't know; Medical gauze; Signal mirror.

      Sorry can't figure it all out, but this at least gives you an idea

  2. When going through some stuff that belonged to a now deceased family member, I found my great uncle's shave kit from WWI. Nice little kit & is in an embossed GI issue metal case.
