    1. For increased visibility? To dry the sails? To increase the wind load, to rock the boat to keep the hull free?

      I'm just guessing.

  3. Alluring Arctic is a YT channel by a couple from Finland who spent the winter in the ice in a bay in Greenland. They had sailed the NW passage starting in Alaska.

  4. (sailboater here) I'm worried about the access Polar Bears have with the crew. Crunchy outside and chewy inside?

    1. Apparently, there are some places in the arctic which polar bears do not visit. The man on the YT channel I mentioned here explains that. Search his last several videos.

  5. "He told me we'll buy a boat, sail around the world, said it would be fun, the Faroe's will be grand."

Guessing it was at anchor and things froze up around it.
