How can this work? if you raise one drive wheel off the ground, the differential will send all the power to that wheel. That's how regular differentials work. However, if it has a locking differential, then BOTH wheels would turn at the same speed, even if one side is off the ground, making it impossible to use a lug wrench because the wheel would be spinning. To actually do it, they would have to modify both differentials so that only one side was driven and the other side just free wheeled.
I watched the video of this, and having owned a 70 series myself the most likely scenario i think is that the rear half shaft raised side has been removed from the rear axle and the diff lock engaged, effectively the vehicle is now one wheel drive.
70 series were not full time 4WD, the centre diff can of course be locked for 4WD but all normal driving its RWD only so the front axle wouldn't have drive, still dodgy though as the natural operation of oil in the front diff would be inclined to turn the lifted front wheel so maybe they removed a front half shaft too.

A) The transfer case is in RWD B) The rear differential is open or unlocked C) The right rear park brake cable is disconnected D) The left rear park brake is applied once it's in the air E) The pinion gears have been removed from the front differential so the axles are no longer connected.
