And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Been known to by these by the 3-piece box. They wear well, fit pretty nicely, and can be repaired if needed. I just go through them in the shop and grounds. The only pair that lasts a good while are the ones in my car. And unlike Red Wing, they do not run $50 - $95.

ReplyDeleteA tiny drop of superglue at the ends of the back stitching, then rub in some Skidmore's Leather Cream. Makes for a decent set of riding gloves.
ReplyDeleteI did this, as I cut the fingertips off the gloves for knot tying, nuts&bolts, etc, overdid it, actually.

DeleteThese are what I use for barbed wire repair. Nothing else protects my hands the way these gloves do.
