They're safer when they're sharp

  1. Finger gloves hahahaha there's much safer ways. Perhaps a proper sharpening stone. Link don't work by the way.

  2. I got one, different brand, no case.
    Super fast, 1 side coarse, 1 side not so coarse.
    Yes, you have to watch your fingers.
    The edge of the blade is sort of hidden from view while you are running the stone.

  3. I've always found a fine file will let you sharpen and keep the blade geometry better than the stones.

    Plus it is easier on the skin of your fingers so you don't shave it or cut it.
