Helicopter Cars?

  1. Very limited range, the blades must be mostly solid to be strong enough, so no fuel storage and the pods on the tips can't store enough fuel to do more than (maybe?) lift off.

    1. No fuel storage needed for the tip jets, they are plumbed to the hub and into the main body. Look at a page for the Fairey Rotodyne for more info on the design

  2. Custom car delivery service maybe? The helicopter picks up the car off the super-speedway and deposits it on a side road. That eliminates the need for ramps and handling merging traffic.
