And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Have the military version that was part of survival pack. Nylon sheath with hooks for hanging from the belt and sharpening stone. Used once and sits with the go-bag now.

I have the military version I inherited from my Dad. Not sure if he bought it at an army surplus store in the 50's or brought it home from Iwo Jima. It included a sharpening stone and a handy little pamphlet entitled "Fighting with the Woodsman's Pal".
Nice tool! My wood splitter is 31 years old, and she 'hits the maul', not the mall. I might get her one of these.
