And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

We just started our second jar of the Luxardo brand cherries. The syrup they're packed in is almost as good as the cherries themselves. Great on vanilla ice cream.
I Like the Amarena cherries - they are not as sweet as Maraschino cherries. Great in a drink and the juice is incredible. Here's one brand. https://www.amazon.com/Amarena-Cherries-Syrup-16-23-Ounce/dp/B084D56CK1
I've had the ones from Makers Mark and those were excellent.
