And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Charles C. Ebbets taking a photo of Ironworkers lunching and smoking 840 feet above Manhattan, 1932.
Ok, are you reading my mind CW? I was scrolling my twitter feed and that top image came up. I had never seen or heard of him until an hour ago. I'm sitting here drinking my coffee and searching around his history and image files. Too funny.
Is there a picture of the guy taking a picture of the guy taking a picture of the guy taking a picture of the guy taking a picture of the guy taking a picture of the guy taking a picture of the guy taking a picture of the guy taking a picture of the guy taking a picture of the guys sitting on the beam? Perhaps the chain was broken when one of the guys taking a picture of the guys taking pictures of the guys taking pictures of the guys fell to his death from a height of 840 feet
Yes, in part. I lined up google maps in 3d and tried to find the background view of the guy with the camera. Rockefeller Center is the only one it could be.
The block immediately to the north, on Sixth Avenue between 49th and 50th streets, is occupied by 30 Rockefeller Plaza and its western annex at 1250 Sixth Avenue. The 70-floor, 872-foot-tall building anchors the entire complex, and is located on the eastern side of the block.
