And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
In 1969 I bought an harley davidson, a liberator, made in 1943. The man I bought it from was the persident of teh Harley Davidson club of Belgium. He sold this fabtastic motorcycle because his wife neden som place in their garage for her car. He persheasded teh motorcycle for 5000 Belgian francs, that is about 170 American dolars.
One of the scariest motorcycle rides I ever had was a hopped up, hand shift, Panhead. It didn't have the mousetrap clutch but pressure only suicide clutch.
A friend of a girl friend got arrested in South Beach, Miami. She volunteered me to ride it back to Homestead AFB. Scary ride.
A classic!
