And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We had to launch on red flares, things were busy on the 4th of July when the CG air station was still there in Chicago. I sure do miss not having a VW bus...
The V8 emblem is, at a minimum, from a 1965 Barracuda, and designates the 273 cubic inch 2 barrel carbureted model. The 4 barrel carbureted model added "Commando" to the mix. It may have been used on the 1964 and 1965 models as well, both of which used the same body as the 1965. Now that I am thinking of it, it probably applied to all V8 Plymouths of the day, no matter the displacement or engine family. Ask me how I know................
