The first blender full for this fall. Beautiful.
The crop this year, from our one tree, is good, so it will take at least a couple weekends to pick, separate, clean, blend, strain and then settle the juice. If you've ever done this job yourself, you'll understand why pomegranate juice at the store is pricey.
The farm wife plans to make pomegranate jelly. Who wants some?
That's a lot of work...separating those seeds. I could trade some sourdough bread for some jelly.
ReplyDeleteWho wants some? Me! :o) Trade 'ya an apple pie......
ReplyDeleteOh yeah!
ReplyDeleteput me on the list.....
ReplyDeleteWell... as long as you're offering.
ReplyDeleteMy brother's tree produces quite well.
But his wife isn't a farm wife.
So he used to haul the crop here for GS to create the goodness.
Haha! Jelly for everyone! The farm wife is pleased.
ReplyDeletePut me down for a case!
