  3. Good identification as a Falcon but not a 1964 model. The body style of this one is of the first generation of Falcons offered 1960-63. The second generation (1964-65) body style was less ‘rounded’ having more angular features. The trim pieces appear to be the style available for the 1963 Futura/Sprint versions.

    The one in the photo appears to have dual exhaust pipes. If not original with the car, then it would be highly unlikely that someone would add that feature to a car that did not have a V-8 engine. The first generation Falcons were not offered with a V-8 until sometime during the 1963 model year.

    Thus, the car appears to be a Falcon Futura or Sprint convertible of model year 1963.
