And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That looks a lot like Houston Intercontinental Airport. I remember driving in Houston, north side, in the early 80's, an old neighborhood of mixed small older ranch homes and small businesses in metal buildings. Rolled up to a 4-way stop. Looked up, and there's the shuttle perched on top of that 747, doing a slow circle around Houston. I jumped out and pointed up to the other drivers, they all jumped out, and we cheered. It was a great moment. They did a couple of passes around Houston and then landed to refuel. I think the shuttle had landed in California and they were transporting it back to NASA.
Slightly off topic: I was in DC when the shuttle flew into town for its final resting place at (I think) Smithsonian. Looked up between the high-rise buildings, and there was a 747 with a space shuttle bolted to its back. Wish I had a camera. This was in the mid-1990s, iirc.
That may be when the Space Shuttle Endeavour was on its way to the California Science Center. Here's an article explaining the need to use a stock Toyota Tundra to tow it across. https://www.motortrend.com/news/163-news121015-2012-toyota-tundra-tows-endeavour
