  1. I had the 200 amp unit for almost 40 years before the magic smoke escaped. I no longer have any heavy equipment so I replaced it with a 50 amp unit.

FYI: if you put float chargers on everything you do not crank every day the batteries will last 2 or 3 times longer. I have a 2006 Harley that I put it's third battery in last year. Harley batteries usually only last 2 years if the bike is ridden often.

    1. We drive less than 3k per year so both our rides have small Battery Tenders mounted under the hood. Also have one on my riding mower. Batteries iz spensive.

  2. Don't buy anything Schumacher.
I've bought three chargers from them, and one only lasted 3 charges and quit and when I called the factory, parts were unavailable. Other 2 never make it one year. Their stuff is junk
. Buy Associated if you want a good charger.

  3. I've had a smaller red Century model that has served me well for 40+ years.
