  1. .380 auto, but nobody wants to get shot with anything, really.

  2. Shot placement is key. I carried a Hi-Power off duty for decades, but have changed to a Kimber CDP II in 45ACP as the eyes have become dimmer. A little off target won’t matter to a 45. .

  3. Worst trigger I've ever come across

    1. S&W Bodyguard, version #1, would give it a run for the money.

  4. Might be OK as a NY Reload ....for my backup pistol.

  5. Carried that one minus the laser in pocket for years until I got a bad spot on skin, switched to P-32. Smaller, lighter, narrower. Use czech ammo with iron core. Way more pleasant to shoot compared to LCP.

  6. That and the S&W body guard are excellent hideaways. Top notch. And .380 self defense ammo has excellent characteristics compared to earlier period loads.

  7. Pop somebody lightening fast in the knee or between the eyes, they are gonna be rather preoccupied with your person. Worked with a fellow shot a couple actors one night in the abdomen with his belt buckle holstered mini revolver in .22 mag, he said both forgot about him instantly. Because they survived he had to endure couple years of the didntdonothing court system circus. Any pistola is always tons better than no pistola.

  8. I’ve never had a bad Ruger and I’ve had near a dozen and I carry the LCP in .380. It’s my job to adapt to the trigger.
