And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My wife would kill to find one of those today. Always bitching about needing two ovens minimum every holiday with family in town. Problem is no modern kitchen can fit them unless the house was built with such in mind. Sigh!
I found one just like that in an old house scheduled to be torn down. It was in very condition too. If I was the thieving kind I woulda. The owners had passed away. None of their children cared a wit. They wouldn't even make a deal.
