And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Whenever I come across one of these videos on YouTube, I report it for violence. These videos are staged. They are no different than dog-fighting or cock-fighting. The authors are morally depraved.
I had a doberman type mutt once who, while we were running, saw a large red racer zip onto a bush. Felt it should investigate and got bit on the nose for it's effort. It jumped backwards and did the most the most acrobatic backflip I have ever seen outside the Olympics. Perfect landing and at the ready. It watched the bush for a moment then walked off kind of stiff legged. It remembered that bush for years and gave a wide berth on later runs. No animals were injured during this event.
