And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Pretty sure the 400 Z is a Datsu ... Nissan sports car.
Fun fact, in Japan, and Great Britain, South Africa, Australia, and all the other English speaking countries, Z is pronounced ZED, not zee, so if an American asked for a Nissan 200 Z they would probably get served a 200 C, which is a totally different bottle of sauce. One wonders how the USual suspects pronounce 'adze' ... is it add zee-ee ? How about 'lolz' ... is that lolzee ?
...but it's the generation that drank from the rusty school water fountain that told us 1- we need to drink more water, 2- drinking from the rusty school fountain is bad 3- we're not gonna spend the money to fix the rusty water fountain, 4, if you notice problems stemming from these first three, the solution is we have bottled water and 40oz Stanley cups we can sell you
@ ghostsniper it was the fat ninny-nannies from the generation; the ones who couldn't move out of the way or lift their arms as the volley ball came down that rusty water fountain fluid is what keeps my gemeration going into their late '80s, it contained all sorts of crap to which we built anti-bodies early.
I don't know when people had to have a water bottle at their side for always and ever. I ran long distance for 35 years and other than a water table during a race, I never carried a water bottle with me. I now do yoga four times a week and the ladies always take a break to get a sip of water. Why?
I'm 65, worked in Persian Gulf for many years and played varsity sports and in all those years I never carried a water bottle. I never needed a water bottle. A switch flipped and people turned into pussies almost overnight.

ReplyDeleteI would think they'd make pretty good weapons. You couldn't do that in my day, they were glass-lined inside.

ReplyDeleteAnd to think people would climb into a wooden wagon, dragged by oxen over 1,000 miles, and drink water maybe once a day for weeks to get to Utah!
