The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I worked in many aerospace facilities, always used blue ink so I could tell an original from a copy. All drawings were initialled for "drawn by, checked by, approved by, depart. mgr." Never sign anything in black ink. Don't argue about color copiers, not the same.
Gas Company....We were told to use blue ink on inspection reports. That was the original we sent in, my file copies were of course black. When the Director told us to not keep copies I made doubly sure to keep copies.
