And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My wife bought that same model a couple years ago and lives off'n it. To me, it seems that all the k-cups no matter the flavor, all taste about the same. shrug My daily is Great Value instant with a shot of sugar and milk. Fast, inexpensive, tasty, zero clean up, can make over a fire if necessary.
I'm gonna look for your Great Value, Ghost. Lately, I haven't been able to find a brand of instant that doesn't taste like something from a chemistry set.
My favorite instant is Nescafe but man that stuff's expensive. I drink 2 big cups everyday and a big jar of GV lasts me about 17 days. The G costs about $7 and the N costs about $10, at Walmart of course.
Try Columbian Coffee. I use Kroger brand and do the button on the left. Smallest so it comes out strong. My uncle was a truck driver. Like he always said "That stuff will put hair on your goozle" That you're Adam's apple for county folk
I miss the old Keurig Vue that could brew a 16 oz cup. Just found a Nespresso that will do an 18 oz cup, and that's working well. Got a refill kit for the pods and use my own coffee.
Back in the old days I used to drink gallons everyday and used a 10 cup coffee pot. I only have 2 or 3 cups these days & use a Keurig for it. The coffee is good and the clean up is exceptionally easy.

DeleteI have this very Keurig and use it every day. I’m partial to Folgers Black Silk . As a matter of fact, I might go make a cup right now.

Used this for years. I drink the regular Dunkin' Donuts. Yeah, it's just one step above colored water but I can't stand the flavored or dark brews.

Literally bought a Mainstays economy version of this for $19.99.
ReplyDeleteYou pay for the name, and a perk or 2.
Never have owned one
ReplyDeleteFascinating. What else haven't you done ?
