  5. I found a recipe:

    Ingredients:
    For the Cake Layers:
    • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 1/2 cups sugar
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
    • 1 cup boiling water
    For the Cookie Dough Frosting:
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated to ensure safety, or use pasteurized flour)
    • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
    • 1/4 cup milk (more if needed for consistency)
    For the Toppings:
    • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (melted for drizzle)
    • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
    • 1/2 cup cookie dough balls (for decoration)
    Instructions:
    1. Make the Cake Layers:
    o Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
    o In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
    o In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
    o Add the dry ingredients in three additions, alternating with buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix in the boiling water until smooth (the batter will be thin).
    o Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    o Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
    2. Prepare the Cookie Dough Frosting:
    o Cream the butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
    o Add vanilla extract, salt, and flour, and mix until smooth. Add milk one tablespoon at a time until the frosting reaches your desired consistency. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
    3. Assemble the Cake:
    o Once the cakes are completely cool, level the tops if needed.
    o Place the first layer of cake on a serving plate. Spread a layer of cookie dough frosting on top.
    o Add a second layer of cake, then repeat the frosting layer.
    o Continue until all the layers are stacked.
    4. Decorate:
    o Drizzle melted chocolate over the top of the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
    o Top with cookie dough balls, more mini chocolate chips, and chopped walnuts if using.
    5. Serve & Enjoy!
    o Slice and serve this indulgent, gooey, and decadent cake. It's perfect for any special occasion or just a sweet treat!
