And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
yeah, the LP12 is a great turntable. I'm using a J.A. Michelle Gyrodec with an SME series V arm and Grado statement 3 cartridge. I love the sound and playing records is kind of a ritual, too. And i still enjoy 'reading' the album jacket!
I have a new turntable and recovered one of my Dad's albums I remember listening to in the late 60's. The album states it is "Stereophonic" so it requires advanced equipment to get the full effect...
Manual? no
ReplyDeleteBelt drive? no
You want, Automatic, Direct drive
This is the model I have owned since 1977.

DeleteBought one with AMEX card points last year. Good sound quality but no HK. Still have around 100 33s & 45s.

ReplyDeleteWho made the turntable with the concrete base?
ReplyDeleteStill love my simple B&O Beogram RX2 after all these years.
ReplyDeletePro-Ject turntable here. Nothing quite like Dark Side of the Moon on vinyl.
