    1. Linn Sondek LP12s are still belt drive and are pretty good. Steve_in_Ottawa

    2. yeah, the LP12 is a great turntable. I'm using a J.A. Michelle Gyrodec with an SME series V arm and Grado statement 3 cartridge. I love the sound and playing records is kind of a ritual, too. And i still enjoy 'reading' the album jacket!

  2. Bought one with AMEX card points last year. Good sound quality but no HK. Still have around 100 33s & 45s.

  3. I have a new turntable and recovered one of my Dad's albums I remember listening to in the late 60's. The album states it is "Stereophonic" so it requires advanced equipment to get the full effect...
