And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I've lived in this house for twenty one years, but I've never had a storm that coated every window, first and second floor, on all four sides with an opaque coating of global warming. What's it like outside? I haven't a clue. In an hour or so when fully dressed I'll use a door to go outside for a look. Hope everyone is safe. PS Also the water in the toilet bowl is visibly rising and falling, in time with the gusts of wind outside.

That rise/lowering of toilet water is caused by the wind blowing across the vent pipe.
