And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A very early Christmas present, Santa left an Erector Set couple years later. Loved them both, they certainly had an effect on my life later growing up, becoming a welder and fitter.
Not sure, but the bricks must have been the precursor to Legos. Does anyone know the history? Having an interest in being an architect I liked the bricks realism better. As an antique toy collector years later I don't remember ever seeing a set, so they must not have been as popular as the other building sets. Bubbarust
