  1. A very early Christmas present, Santa left an Erector Set couple years later. Loved them both, they certainly had an effect on my life later growing up, becoming a welder and fitter.

    2. Not sure, but the bricks must have been the precursor to Legos. Does
      anyone know the history? Having an interest in being an architect I liked
      the bricks realism better. As an antique toy collector years later I don't
      remember ever seeing a set, so they must not have been as popular
      as the other building sets.
